Cleveland Or Bust
I’m hitting the road again, this time for Cleveland (my first time to the Jake!) to go to the Sox-Indians games tonight and tomorrow. I am simultaneously thrilled and terrified. It’s going to be a wild ride, and I can’t wait.
I’m going to try to post from the wilds of Ohio, but I’ll leave you with these things, just in case.
First up, the neatest idea for a video I’ve seen in a while: the Boston Globe set up a still camera to take time-lapse photos of the pitcher’s mound throughout Game 1 of the ALCS, and then they turned those photos into a video. With “Black Betty” as the soundtrack. Seriously cool.

heading out to enemy territory…send good vibes to our boys..note i’ve decided that dice k is the anti josh beckett pre game interview…poor guy he couldn’t stop laughing…i think hanging out w/tavarez has made him quite goofy. lets hope he gives us a good start tonght.
That video is great! They should do it for each game, but try and get the scoreboard in the shot because you could kind of “follow” what was going on then. Have a good time in Cleveland, I hope a lot of Sox fans made the trip!

re the shirts, would it be possible to put the little subtitle descriptive stuff you wrote in the original post on them? just wondering.
I just splurged on some fabulous flat boots and a pair of Joe’s Jeans, but my next paycheck is gonna have Mr. Papelbon’s name on it.
