Now even the Red Sox themselves are getting in on the action and campaigning for the cause.
A prime example could be seen outside the manager’s office, where Manny Ramirez was talking to the media. Upon finishing the rare interview session, Ramirez walked away and then doubled back, yelling, “Sign Mike Lowell!“
ahahaHAH i e-mailed that exact cut&paste to katie this morning. if i recall correctly, manny was the first player i read about taking up the banner, right around the time of the all-star break. i hope that “sign mike lowell” becomes the new “free tibet.”
i’ve read on other blogs a lot of our sox fans have this thing about arod…its mike lowell we need.. and if “i’m a bad man” manny say it…theo better be listening.
Come on, Mel. You know Mike Lowell would rock the Philly bloodstripes with aplomb.
