The way he kept saying it at first made me wonder whether the whole thing was really a joke- like he was trying so hard to be all, “No, y’all, seriously!” about it… it had to be fake.

But it was real, all right.

Also “Parlay the Soxy Pirates” would not only make an excellent band name, I see a cartoon series a la “Josie and the Pussycats” in their future as well.

If these guys make it big as drummers, though, they definitely need to call themselves “Parlay and the Soxy Pirates”.

I love how Timlin keeps saying, “I know it sounds silly…” in his interview. Don’t worry, Mikey Tim. We know how much it means to Okie and the rest of you guys.

This story made me so sad when I first heard about it. Their story doesn’t seem too far-fetched, especially after seeing the states that most people at Fenway were in on Sunday night…I don’t know if I totally believe they “found it” though, but if it fucks Oki up and he does bad, all of RSN knows their names and where they go to school;-)

And I should just say that I LOVE OUR BULLPEN.
