You know, anything big happen last night? Any teams clinch a World Series berth, after coming back from a 3-1 deficit? Anything like that? Hold on, I think Jonathan Papelbon has something to say…
I don’t know about y’all, but after this weekend I am flat worn out. I will have all the video and pictures and stuff from the celebration tomorrow, but for now, I’m going to sleep the sleep of the victorious.

Words cannot describe how joyful I was feeling as Coco ran into the wall. And Paps and Tek…that was the funniest hug I’ve ever seen.
Good job boys.
I screamed so hard (into a pillow, of course; it was midnight, after all) that I felt lightheaded. I screamed for about five minutes straight.
The Pap/Tek hug? It was so sweet, though it was hilarious the way Pap was like “C’MERE, BABY!” with his fingers. I love these guys. GO SOX!
Couple of days late on commenting, since I was in Baltimore for Games 5 – 7, but I have to say that this team makes me so incredibly happy. And what’s better is that the unheralded (and sometimes much maligned) guys of the team are the ones that came through.
1) First and foremost, JD Drew hitting that grandslam. There was a 4 person wave (all grownups) that occurred on the couch, to the bewilderment and amazement of the 5 year old watching us.
2) Scrappy-Doo doing his little Mighty Mite thing and taking Game 7 for us. Go ahead, reporters, and criticize him. He’ll just prove you wrong, Dusty-style.
3) Coco Crissssp may not be hitting, but god bless him for his centerfield prowling. I’m so glad that he was able to be the hero at the end.
4) Eric Gagne – tres bien for that clean inning. Now go back and sit down until you’re called again.
Congrats to the boys of summer and I can’t wait for the WS. It’s shaping up to be amazing. BTW – MDC and company should totally start up his own band. I’d pay money to see those guys in concert.
