In the last video Paps cracks up and looks off camera because of the price of the bat.. 4 easy payments of 1124…Doh!! Everything is fine, but when the guy says the price of the bat they can’t help but laugh at 1. the price of the bat and 2 the idiot that buys it.. haha, just shows they are normal people..pretty funny…

This is so hysterical Texas Gal, thank you. I cracked up watching Papelbon on Letterman but if I’d known he was on QVC — so totally strange and you’re right Meg, even McCarver looks like a genius –comparably speaking.

Then the call ups. Poor Jonathan trying to chit chat and showing the cap forward and backwards. I love “Mine has a lot of champagne on it.”

The host would have made McCarver seem like a goddamn genius. That contributed to the hillarity though. And I never knew that his Dad worked there….it’s a great museum, if anyone ever go to games at Tropicana show up early so you can spend some time there.

When Holly texted (texted…that word just don’t look right) me last night about Papelbon on QVC, I just KNEW Dan Wheeler would be the host and I was right. Even though he does most of the sports memorabilia shows, Wheeler is a nerdy and boring. Dan Hughes would’ve been a better choice, and even though she probably doesn’t know shit about sports, Lisa Robertson would’ve been really fun. I looooooove Lisa Robertson.

It could’ve been worse, though…you could’ve gotten David Venable or Mary Beth Roe.

I know entirely too much about the QVC presenters.

i’ve always loved josh beckett but i’m falling for jonathan papelbon. ps, this is my fave red sox blog ever, keep up the good work
