Where Is Tavarez?

Earlier this week, Theo Epstein mentioned that since picking up Julian Tavarez’s option for 2008, no one from the Sox front office had made contact with him… and they weren’t really sure where Tavarez is.
So now it’s time to play the game… WHERE IS TAVAREZ?

Living on a riverboat on the Amazon.
Working as a department store Santa in Duluth, Minnesota.
Carnival barker in Romania.
Running around New Orleans in a Godzilla costume.
Still hungover in Denver from the World Series.

He’s off making another Freddy Krueger movie
He’s probably in Japan learning the ways of the Buddhists and getting a full grasp of the language. Odds are, he’ll be fluent in Japanese when he returns. And nobody will be entirely shocked.
Aw come on, we know where he is…… he’s earning money this off season at the petting zoo!

Honestly, this is pretty weird–”We’re still trying to track him down, to be honest with you,” according to Theo. But it’s such a Tavarez thing to do.
P2K – as one of the guys cleaning up after the animals… or as one of the animals being cleaned up after?
Maybe he had such a good time teaching Daisuke english and spanish, that he decded to go to a random foreign country and do that fulltime during the offseason. So the rest of the world will know “about 20 swear words” in english and then the weird combo of spanish, english and “other” that you know him and Manny speak to each other in.
And those kids in the pic with the cannon made me laugh way too much.
