Highlights definitely have to be baby Joshie, all wide-eyed (he should be clean-shaven more often! o.o), and Suave JD. He looks like a total vintage baseball card–vintage as in before he was born.

Ooh, this totally made my day! And you included my favorite baseball card of all time, the Wakefield Pirates one. I hadn’t seen the other Wake, hahaha.

I was looking at the Mike Lowell one thinking ‘ooh’ and then I got this funny feeling and I realized it was because he’s wearing a Yankees uniform. Gahh. I do not like to see him in a Yankees uniform.

Oh, and I love the 1991 Manny. That totally is a yearbook photo.

I could totally imagine Manny accidently showing up to the photo session for pitchers…hence why he is holding a ball and not a bat.

Cora still takes all his pics smiling…my friends that I used to drag to Sox games in Tampa knew him as “the happy one” cause in the pic they showed when he batted he had this huge grin on his face.

The two different Wakefield cards crack me up the most. The first one he looks like the same Wake we know and love, just younger. The second, you’d swear he was one of those guys who could plant a 99MPH fastball in your skull. And the thought of him trying to drill someone with a kunckleball, well…that’s hilarious.

Mike Lowell was/is quite the studmuffin. I must say he’s aged tremendously well.
