Here’s NESN’s video clip highlight reel:

you know, every time i see footage of the party at fenway on 28 september, my face scrunches up just a little because SIGH i was there and i didn’t stay. WHY DIDN’T I STAY!?!?!??!?!?1!
i keep thinking i’m over it, and then i realize all over again: no. rats.
;D
if only we all had such problems! hee.
Wow, I needed that so badly today.
That was definitely hail outside when I got my lunch and the wind is picking up and ugh…
And today it happened: I officially became ready for spring. February 1st will do that, I guess.
One more thought:
That one shot from above (at around 40 seconds in) showing the players swarming after the win is just fantastic.
With Number 10, nobody really seems to understand how badly the Red Sox needed that game. That was the game that kind of turned them around and got them into shape to clinch the playoffs. I think they only lost twice after that in the regular season(okay three times, but that last game didn’t matter). Also I find it funny that it was “the 21st night of September” because that team changed the minds of pretenders(Earth, Wind, and Fire FTW!)
I like to call number 9 hte “Eff You Cancer” game, I think the 4/20 game should be a little higher.
The whole clinching celebration for the AL East was the greatest. It even outdid the 2003 clinching celebration which is kind of hard to do.
I had goosebumps the whole way through that video. Thank you so much, TG.
Isn’t it time for spring trainingl yet???
I got a little teary-eyed watching that haha. thanks for that!
Is there any limit as to how many times we can watch this video? :)
Did anybody notice in the footage of the clinch there’s one guy in the stands who looks like Newman from Seinfeld?
