Varitek & Schilling’s Norma Rae Moment

Speaking from the dugout to a gaggle of reporters earlier this afternoon, Jason Varitek discussed the now-resolved coaches compensation issue. Curt Schilling also held court on the field and discussed his thoughts on the boycott.

Tek is awesome. So is Curt. I’m glad this got resolved so quickly (I would’ve liked to been a fly on the wall at MLB hq ;-).

People ask me why I’m a Red Sox fan…THIS is why. They’re a real team. Not many teams would have stood up to MLB. I’m proud of them.
