That was so beautiful. 1986 was the year my parents were married (right after the World Series), and since they're both Mets fans I really can't say anything - it was a sort of wedding present. And with two titles since then, as a Sox fan I really can't complain either. I've never believed the whole thing was entirely Buckner's fault. I've seen that play more times than I can remember because of my family's baseball loyalties - there's even a signed photo of it in our basement - and I've just never been convinced that it was just him. (The irony of him talking to Youk at the end was pretty interesting, though.) (Also, I've never been able to call him Billy, but that's because <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Buckner" rel="nofollow">there's also a Billy Buckner</a> who is unrelated to him...) …wow.
