Totally unrelated question, but has anyone here ever been to a game at Camden Yards? I’m going to the 4 games boston is playing there in May and I’m curious if it’s as nice as everyone says it is??
BTW, question, what was up with the DP playing catcher, that everyone was talking about?

bethie – camden yards is gorgeous. totally a great place to catch the sox; most of massachusetts will be there with you! ;D
I went to Camden a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed it, and the food was awesome. The most incredible thing, though, was the abundance of parking right next to the park for $5! (It might be more now.)

Cool! Thanks guys. I have a co worker that is an O’s fan, and he says it’s really nice there. Just wanted to get verification from some sox fans. LOL. I just ordered my last set of tickets. And on May 3rd I’ll be going to my first game ever at Fenway. So excited I can’t stand it!!
Speaking of food at Camden, my friend got our seats for Sunday, we are in the all you can eat section right above the bullpen., SWEET!!! LOL

My friend went to a Sox game in Camden and saw Beckett pitch. I’m still jealous that she saw him pitch.

Bethie, you took the words right out of my mouth. I got sidetracked with something else for a few minutes, and look what happened! WTF sums it up exactly.
Best (err… funniest) part about the game? On Saturday night, Dice-K pitched, and in the break of the 8th inning, they started playing “Sweet Caroline” over the PA, and all the Sox fans were singing along to the first couple of lines… and then there was a giant sound effect of a needle scratching across a record, the song stopped, and they played “Thank God I’m A Country Boy.” It was awesomely mean.
Also, I paid $10 extra for an all-you-can-drink beer party in the park for the hour before the game started. Seriously. Best $10 I ever spent.
No Tek makes me a seriously unhappy panda.
I’m hoping to go to the Sox-O’s game at Camden on 6/1 myself – I’m a MA girl but transplanted myself here last year for the better job market in DC. I’m only 45 minutes from Baltimore and have a friend here who’s also a diehard Sox fan so I think we’ll be hitting that game together.
Okay, Weaver needs a strain of the flu. LOL

ecl, I have this. You get GameDay Audio plus a few other things, but it’s the same price as buying GD Audio by itself.
Is that $14.95 total or per month?
Total. Just pay the $15 once, and you have it for the whole year! You can listen to the home station or the away station, and sometimes you can even listen in Spanish!
