Bethie, are you basing that on the rookie card? If you search his name on Getty Images…all the way back…you can see a good face shot. He looks even younger.

I’m sad that I’m going to miss Justin’s start tomorrow. I have classes then.
The Rookie Card page is currently loading very slowly for me, but J.D. definitely was cute! And Youk was almost unrecognizable.
My heart rate just made the most ridiculous jump right now.

Back from your meeting so soon?
It was a really short meeting, and I live really close to the building…the whole thing took about ten minutes or so.
Tomorrow’s game will start right around the time I usually eat lunch. Hopefully I can catch the first couple/three innings on Gameday visual, if nothing else.
Craig Hansen will be optioned back to Pawtucket to make room for Masterson, who was scheduled to start Thursday for Portland.
Those are the good kinds of meetings. Today I had to go to one where a bunch of us were writing a song to “roast” someone in our office who is retiring. Took an HOUR just to get through the preliminary meeting. And we’re meeting at least two more times…all this for a performance that will probably take all of 10 minutes at the farewell party.
Crap, tomorrow is a day game. I’ll be out shopping for my trip. Ugh.

Yes there’s room on the 40-man but you’re only allowed 25 on the active roster.
Ah, right. But they won’t have to designate anyone for assignment to make this move – that’s more where I was going with that.
