One-third of tonight’s lineup played against each other in college, and that amuses me to no end.
I am obsessed with that conference. It’s ridiculous.
Greetings! I’m just leaving the office so will miss the first pitch, but will be ready to join the festivities as soon as I get home and fire up the computer.
I see Jed is in the game tonight. Steph is doing the happy dance for sure! :-)

I am, too! I’ve been giddy this whole afternoon, and I decided to stay in to write a paper that’s not due for weeks so that I’d have an excuse to be here.
Granted, I will be busy this weekend (playing Victorian baseball) and next weekend (family down here for my birthday), but…it’s kind of pathetic that I’m doing this.
Is it wrong that I almost flipped out when I saw that Jed was starting tonight?
No. It’s not. I actually did flip out.
i’m still totally in “there is baseball on my tv therefore i am busy” mode. ;D usually it wears off, but man … i might just stay here in front of nesn between now and the end of october. I LOVE THESE GUYS.
I can afford to miss games…but only if Jed’s not up with the big club. His presence makes me stay around and write essays.
(If I ever meet him, I am totally telling him that I stayed in and wrote essays so I could listen to him on the radio. He’d understand the ‘writing essays early’ bit, at least.)

Oh, yeah – I’m a Civil War reenactor, and since a bunch of prospective students will be on campus tomorrow we’re playing baseball by 1860s rules to help convince them that this college is awesome.
I have to wear my corset, though. Owwwwww.
