TG – I did see what you said about Crawford’s douchiness earlier (had to eat dinner, so I didn’t reply at the time) but that is majorly idiotic. I still like him as a player, though. Also, cool picture.

I’ve heard theym say at least 3 times when someone on the sox is at bat they will say “this guy has a full count”, instead of “Ellsbury has a full count”. Hey jackass, I know you have a roster sheet in the booth. If all else fails, their names are on their uniforms.
And I especially love the little montage they had about Papi cussing at his bat when it shattered. that was soooooooo entertaining.
Maybe I’m just being especially bitchy. I’ve gotten used to NESN broadcasts over the last week, and it’s a night and day difference.

I didn’t hear about Papi “cussing at” his bat. The audio I’m listening to (WRKO) talked about him looking lovingly at the bat for several seconds before tossing it away, and speculated about it being a favorite of his.

Abt the mascot– They showed a blownup TB mascott (on NESN), and it fell over and then started to stand/walk on it’s head…it was hilarious! haha.
If they let you choose your TV feed on MLB.TV/Extra Innings like they do the radio feeds, that would RULE.

Bethie — ah, thanks. I just ran over to my TV to see if FSN was showing the game and it hadn’t been listed. No MLB games on our cable tonight whatsoever, it turns out.
The poster children for saying no to speed, LOL. That reminds me of what I’ve heard about “Mad Dog” on WFAN in New York…that he sounds like Donald Duck on steroids! Interestingly, “Mad Dog” and I grew up in the same time and we knew each other as teenagers. Strange but true. Haven’t seen him since he was about 15, and haven’t tuned in to an audiostream to hear what he sounds like now. By his pictures, though, he’s very recognizable.
Come on Lugo!! make up for that error!!
