But unfortunately, Angela, as far as baseball is concerned, Connecticut might as well be the Sixth Borough. Sure, there are those who know where their loyalties ought to lie, but I feel like if Dunkin had included this promotion in CT their stores there might have suffered serious damage in the ensuing riots. Sorry. :(

in a completely unrelated note, I saw an oriole on my lawn this morning. I have never in my life seen the real bird before. This came 12 hours after mocking a friend who’s an O’s fan. should I take that as some sort of sign? or threat?

I grew up in New Jersey, which has DDs aplenty. I now live in Virginia and was thrilled when a DD opened up near me (they were never here before). My Virginia-born and bred husband had no idea why I was squeeing over a donut place. DDs define the Northeast!

It totally sucks that people forget Connecticut is in New England….we even get shafted by Dunkin Donuts.

And to make it worse, I’m temporarily living in Central New Hampshire, so I don’t get to enjoy free Dunkin Donuts here either!

Dunkin Donuts should look up what defines New England.

Both of those were great. For some reason I get a special thrill seeing a Sox player appearing in something shot on film. Like suddenly Papelbon is appearing in a Hollywood movie or something.
