I’ve deprived y’all long enough — it’s time for another installment of Awesome Animated GIF Of The Week. This time, it’s Manny (being Manny):
And if seeing Manny and his lifelike bobblehead makes you just a teensy bit jealous, you can make a bobblehead (of sorts) in your own likeness here — or do like I did, and make bobbleheads of random Sox players.
The Manny GIF is really addiciting; I just can’t stop watching it. I think my head’s starting to bob up and down, too…
Actually that’s a bobblehead of Pedro Martinez. It was from July 9, 2004 game(I was at that game so I know). Trot Nixon was wrestling with it at one point too. I think the story was that Pedro left early for the All Star Break(which was in like 2 days) and Derek Lowe found this giant bobblehead of Pedro. Thus, the craziness began. I think that was the same year that Derek dressed up in Pedro’s pimp sunglasses, Dominican doorag, and swung around his nerf bat. That wasn’t till late August though. I seriously wish I still had a picture of that.
Yeah- I should have made that more clear… I didn’t mean to imply the bobblehead was OF Manny, just that he was playing with it.
Don’t worry about it Tex. I was just saying it was. I do wish I had footage of Trot Nixon wrestling the bobblehead, though. That’d be an amazing GIF. And I would’ve thought it was Manny at first glance too if I hadn’t seen it.
I think posting this entry while in Oklahoma affected my ability to clearly and effectively speak English.
