  4. 2008 May 4 at 2:06 pm

thats alright Tex, its here now! =P

  5. 2008 May 4 at 2:06 pm

I agree with you fc. Was kind of lost without a thread. I almost made one just for everyone to have a place to go today.

Did somebody replace Dustin’s legs with somebody elses.

  6. 2008 May 4 at 2:07 pm

Well, since Jacoby wasnt in the original lineup, i want him to make tito think twice about putting Coco in by having an amazing night! haha.

I’m also very fond of Papi right now. =P

  7. 2008 May 4 at 2:07 pm

    The minions are happy now.

  8. 2008 May 4 at 2:08 pm

Mikey’s been showing some ‘tude lately when he strikes out.

  9. 2008 May 4 at 2:08 pm

haha Ian, a double steal from Jacoby and Dusty, thats definately something new. usually its Lugo and Cobes.

When Pleats came off the bag, i was so nervous! but thank god the ump made the RIGHT call.

    Hey everyone!

  12. 2008 May 4 at 2:08 pm

The Celtics are up 44-26 at the half.

    The Skanks demoted IKen

  13. 2008 May 4 at 2:09 pm

Papi was scratched because of knee tightness

  14. 2008 May 4 at 2:10 pm

Coco was supposed to be in center, drew in right, manny in left. but papi had some tightness in his knee, so they put manny as DH, jacoby in left, coco in center and drew in right.

  15. 2008 May 4 at 2:11 pm

    That was a fair ball..

  16. 2008 May 4 at 2:11 pm

Also, incase any of you missed Titos post game press conference or the pre-game show– Brandon Moss had to go to Mass General Hospital last night to get his apendix removed. =(

  17. 2008 May 4 at 2:11 pm

  20. 2008 May 4 at 2:12 pm

    Look.

    It’s BATMAN

  21. 2008 May 4 at 2:12 pm

Another convenient event to help Tito juggle his outfielders.

  22. 2008 May 4 at 2:12 pm

Hey Lindsay, apparently Moss is already out of the hospital (or is about to be released). Amazing…

  25. 2008 May 4 at 2:13 pm

    Nice play Lugo!

  26. 2008 May 4 at 2:14 pm

    Note to self:

Never use RemDawg’s scorecard to write your lineup

  27. 2008 May 4 at 2:14 pm

I think I see the next SG Superhero post coming.

Wow Lugo has decided to play good defense

  29. 2008 May 4 at 2:14 pm

Yeah, i heard them saying that. and that hes probably at home right now. Thats kinda fast though, isnt it? After getting surgery?

  30. 2008 May 4 at 2:15 pm

Moss was released this morning and back at his apartment where he will stay for 10 days before heading to Ft. Myers to get back into baseball shape.

He should be out about 3-5 weeks.

  31. 2008 May 4 at 2:15 pm

Come on Lester!! i love his little elf ears! haha.

  32. 2008 May 4 at 2:16 pm

The Red Sox must use an HMO for their health insurance.

  33. 2008 May 4 at 2:16 pm

So much for getting good defense from Lugo tonight….

    Oh, Lugo.

Also, what is the point of the little sparkle-star thing on the Rays’ uniform?

  39. 2008 May 4 at 2:19 pm

    It’s the sun

  40. 2008 May 4 at 2:20 pm

…ah, I get it! There isn’t any sun because they’re saying the weather’s overcast!

There’s plenty of sun in PA today, though. Wish you had our weather…it’s nice out.

I was seriously wondering what health insurance the players have, how it’s negotiated….Glad to hear all is well with Brandon. That was certainly a surprise.

    don and remy are rediculous..lmao

  44. 2008 May 4 at 2:21 pm

I can now say I have something in common with Brandon. I had my appendix removed in second grade. It was an interesting experience. Not very fun, though…

  45. 2008 May 4 at 2:22 pm

It’s gorgeous here as well in CT.

  46. 2008 May 4 at 2:22 pm

…wait, I totally read that whole ’sun’ thing wrong. I thought he was still speaking for Lugie…yeah, no sleep here!

The bottom ticker on the screen notes that Moss is out indefinitely. That sounds ominous. Hope it’s just a poor word choice. He was making great contributions in the Bigs.

Yeah, Jessi, you did speak too soon. :-(

Ian, you’re probably right about the HMO. I remember the first time I took a call at a job from an HMO person who “recommended that Mrs. ______ have two days of hospitalization” for her admission. I was like WTF is this person talking about — how can you tell the docs how long a patient should be admitted?

Want to send some sun up to Boston? It sure doesn’t feel like May.

  50. 2008 May 4 at 2:23 pm

‘Indefinitely’ in this case should only mean a couple of weeks. He’s getting out of the hospital today already…he’s recovering even faster than I did!
