Not impressed with Heidi’s interviewing skills just yet. she seemed nervous during the interview with the Mayor. She was much better in the Edes segment.

  2. 2008 May 5 at 6:46 pm

Sorry if I check in sporadically…I’m live-blogging the PawSox game.

Heidi was nervous around the Mayor? How can you be nervous around Sean Casey?

  3. 2008 May 5 at 6:48 pm

I only saw the short video clip that was posted. I agree, it wasn’t terribly impressive.

  4. 2008 May 5 at 6:50 pm

I’ll be sporadic tonight too, as I’ll be actually watching the game on TV! WOO HOO! Meanwhile, the game starts in 15 minutes and I’m still trying to get dinner together! (rushing off to complete that task). Enjoy the PawSox game, Steph!

  5. 2008 May 5 at 6:50 pm

They’re losing 1-0 right now, though! Oh, well, they’ve only played two total innings, so they’ve got plenty of time…

  6. 2008 May 5 at 6:57 pm

I totally hate these Legal Seafoods commercials.

  7. 2008 May 5 at 7:00 pm

Also, did those with NESN notice how they’re all calling Amalie “Ms. Brown” now? And apparently, Shill even called her “Amalie Brown” when he told her about his shoulder.

  8. 2008 May 5 at 7:00 pm

    I agree with u Liza, they’re so agravating. =/

  9. 2008 May 5 at 7:00 pm

For anyone who cares, Charlie Zink has a second degree black belt in taekwondo. Pretty cool, ne?

  10. 2008 May 5 at 7:01 pm

I wonder how you get a job being “Heidi” anyone know? that would be a DREAM JOB!

  11. 2008 May 5 at 7:02 pm

I agree with Remy, i thought that they would bring up an extra outfielder too. but i guess we were wrong!

  12. 2008 May 5 at 7:02 pm

Telecast has started! Chicken, rice and collard greens (yes, Southern food) all ready to bring into the other room. Life is GOOD, y’all! Enjoy the game, and I’ll be checking in as the action permits. :-)

  13. 2008 May 5 at 7:02 pm

Zink is so awesome, it blows my mind.

  14. 2008 May 5 at 7:03 pm

I’m really excited for this game for some reason. I mean, i’m alsways excited, but i’m just extra excited for this game…lol

  15. 2008 May 5 at 7:03 pm

That’s because Pawtucket’s outfield is kind of depleted.

Also, when Chris Carter was at bat earlier, you could hear the fangirls…

  16. 2008 May 5 at 7:04 pm

    Also, I love Curtis Granderson.

And is there anyone who thought they wouldn’t bring up another outfielder? (I was voting for Chris Carter, personally…)

18 I wonder is those fangirls know about his degree from Stanford

  18. 2008 May 5 at 7:05 pm

I…doubt it. It’s GirlSox Nation we’re talking about, and they actually have a Top Ten Reasons They Love Chris Carter list. Not once does it mention his human biology degree which he got in 3 1/4 YEARS.

    That depresses me so much…

  19. 2008 May 5 at 7:06 pm

Liza, i thought that they would too. It just mad more sense to me. Considering that Coco’s supposedly still not 100% healthy, and god forbid if anything was to happen to another outfielder. But i guess that if that did happen, they would just use Lugo. Or send Hansen down and bring another OF up.

  20. 2008 May 5 at 7:07 pm

    Come on Jacobyy!! =P

  21. 2008 May 5 at 7:07 pm

My thought was Chris Carter because he can play both the outfield and first base, like Brandon…

  22. 2008 May 5 at 7:09 pm

Damnit, ESPN! Jed was there in the dugout and you put the logo with Jacoby’s stats over his face!

  25. 2008 May 5 at 7:10 pm

ok, the cameras reallyyy bothering me…grr =(

  26. 2008 May 5 at 7:10 pm

    HA. Poor Steph.

Choco, this is so weird. Have you heard of Sam Fuld?

  27. 2008 May 5 at 7:10 pm

Dustin seems to think something’s funny…

  28. 2008 May 5 at 7:11 pm

OOH! I’ve heard of Sam Fuld!

…I’ll stop now. But Stanford, eeeee…!

  29. 2008 May 5 at 7:11 pm

this camera is really hindering my entertainment! lol. am i the only 1 that has this happeneing?

  30. 2008 May 5 at 7:16 pm

Liza– Yeah! I like him, too! I don’t know too much about him right now but he’s on my list. :)

    Curtis is up. :)

(I use smileys alot. I don’t make the hyphens as noses though, I think those look less cute.)

Okay he just got out. I seem to have a thing for leadoff batters. There are other characteristics that are my regular type, but leadoff batter is one of them.

  33. 2008 May 5 at 7:18 pm

Bad Dr. McDreamy. We do not get out on two pitches. (Okay, so it was almost a homer, but…yeah.)

  34. 2008 May 5 at 7:19 pm

Choco, you can like leadoff batters, but stay away from Jacoby ;) hehe.

  35. 2008 May 5 at 7:20 pm

Choco, this is all you need to know about Sam Fuld – Master’s degree. In statistics. From Stanford.

Steph– where are you live-blogging? is it on that LJ community I just recently joined? (I really have no clue what I’m doing on there…)

  37. 2008 May 5 at 7:20 pm

    Is anyone watching NESN HD?

  38. 2008 May 5 at 7:21 pm

Yes, I am! I’m doing it in one big post, and it’ll go up at the end of the game. I just write it all up at one time…I find it easier.

  39. 2008 May 5 at 7:21 pm

I’m here – just concentrating on procuring nourishment as blood sugar plummets.

  40. 2008 May 5 at 7:24 pm

    C’mon, Dice, keep it together.

  41. 2008 May 5 at 7:25 pm

    Lindsay, I’m watching NESN HD.

  42. 2008 May 5 at 7:25 pm

Erin, is ur camera shaking? like when they move are they moving really slowly? like theres a delay between them and the camera??

  43. 2008 May 5 at 7:26 pm

Lindsay- you can’t keep me from Jacoby… I think the police can though. he’s 9 years 11 months 10 days older than me. And yes- I’m watching NESN HD. I think it’s on ESPN but I don’t have that in HD.

Steph- wow… that’s really impressive. I love intelligent guys!! There was this wicked wicked smart guy in my math class and my sister made fun of him because he was a little dorky, but I thought he was cute, haha.

  44. 2008 May 5 at 7:26 pm

Ok, hes definately calling him Justin…

  46. 2008 May 5 at 7:27 pm

No, I haven’t noticed any issues yet tonight. That doesn’t sound like a fun way to watch.

  47. 2008 May 5 at 7:27 pm

Yeah, hmm. its really aggravating! lol. i guess its my tv…hmm
