Hooray! I was feeling homeless there for a while.

  2. 2008 May 10 at 7:48 pm

I left a present for the non-NESN people in my afternoon post.

  3. 2008 May 10 at 7:49 pm

All I want for Christmas is for Dice-K to throw strikes here.

  4. 2008 May 10 at 7:49 pm

    AAaah, that’s better.
Thanks to Ian for the kind offer to hang there, but no one else had commented and I’ve never liked being the first kid on the dancefloor.

    Two observations:
    1. Youk cannot be stopped.
    2. This inning is not going well.

  5. 2008 May 10 at 7:49 pm

    THANK YOU, IAN!!!

    Strikes would be good.

  7. 2008 May 10 at 7:50 pm

Hi all! I’m glad to see we have a place to hang out after all. :-)

    Strikes would be nice, yes.

  8. 2008 May 10 at 7:51 pm

    You’re welcome fc and nj.

I figured that was the problem with no comments there so far but I wasn’t going to push it. Plus having to switch sites in the middle of a convo is no fun.

  9. 2008 May 10 at 7:51 pm

Yeah, Youk is on some kind of ridiculous pace. And I like it.

  10. 2008 May 10 at 7:52 pm

Can’t walk guys forever and not be hurt by it. Dammit.

  11. 2008 May 10 at 7:52 pm

    Fluck!!

    I guess Dice-K isn’t over the Walk-bug yet.

  12. 2008 May 10 at 7:56 pm

    I love you, Ian.

But am I the only one who somehow got the information that tonight’s game started at 8?!

  13. 2008 May 10 at 7:58 pm

Well Liza, Texy had the game listed as 7:10 PM and so did I. So I don’t know what to tell ya on that one.

Liza tomorrow;’s game is 8 PM on ESPN. So ya can’t you didn’t know :D

  14. 2008 May 10 at 7:58 pm

*So ya can’t say you didn’t know

Damn fingers being faster than the brain

  15. 2008 May 10 at 7:59 pm

Mmph. I did know about tomorrow. But I think the Globe listed it as 8:10 on the front page of the sports section, where I usually check.

Also, how did the first run score?

  16. 2008 May 10 at 8:00 pm

    Our run? Youk HR.

  17. 2008 May 10 at 8:01 pm

    Youk hit a home run.

That’s your problem checking the main stream media sites. LOL. just kidding. probably just an oversite on their part.

  18. 2008 May 10 at 8:01 pm

Again!? Hee. I picked the right time to post my opinion on the matter of our wonderful first baseman…

  19. 2008 May 10 at 8:02 pm

    Bartolo Colon’s final line: 3 innings. 1 run (earned). 4 hits. 0 walks. 2 strikeouts. 49 pitches (36 strikes).

  20. 2008 May 10 at 8:02 pm

    …words don’t quite capture that…

  21. 2008 May 10 at 8:03 pm

    Not Colon, Dice.

  22. 2008 May 10 at 8:03 pm

And for those who just missed that, YES I will get that video up as soon as I can

  23. 2008 May 10 at 8:03 pm

    Gracias, Ian!

  24. 2008 May 10 at 8:05 pm

    Not Colon, Dice. Hah.

  25. 2008 May 10 at 8:05 pm

    Stupid double posting.

And thank you again, Ian. In advance. :)

  26. 2008 May 10 at 8:07 pm

OK, lemme get this straight. We have a teenager here who checks a newspaper rather than online sources?
I’m not poking fun – just surprised.

  27. 2008 May 10 at 8:07 pm

It was Colon’s line for Pawtucket tonight

  28. 2008 May 10 at 8:08 pm

that was what I was trying to say fc. I’m shocked to see a youngen checking a main stream media site these days.

  29. 2008 May 10 at 8:11 pm

Ian, I actually read the paper. As in the crinkly thing made of trees and ink that people deliver to the doorstep.

So, fc, there’s your answer. :)

  30. 2008 May 10 at 8:12 pm

I read the sports section and watch Sports Center while eating breakfast, but the Internet’s my main source of, well, everything.

    Nice, Tek!

  34. 2008 May 10 at 8:13 pm

    Hey, TG!
    Tek!

  35. 2008 May 10 at 8:13 pm

TG – Having fun, I take it?

  36. 2008 May 10 at 8:14 pm

    Aw, TG, sounds grim.

  37. 2008 May 10 at 8:17 pm

A Texan in Oklahoma is never a good thing

  38. 2008 May 10 at 8:20 pm

Awww, Texy, I’m sorry about Oklahoma!

  39. 2008 May 10 at 8:21 pm

    Yeah Jacoby…

Where’s Steph? Oregon Synergy is leading off the inning.

  40. 2008 May 10 at 8:24 pm

    Woo-hoo, Jed. :)

  41. 2008 May 10 at 8:26 pm

That’s one guy you don’t run on in this league.

  42. 2008 May 10 at 8:27 pm

    Nuhh.

  43. 2008 May 10 at 8:32 pm

That one went straight into the corner…

  44. 2008 May 10 at 8:38 pm

    That sucked.

  45. 2008 May 10 at 8:38 pm

    (sigh)…not good.

  46. 2008 May 10 at 8:39 pm

Daisuke seemed like he was starting to settle down for a minute there.

  47. 2008 May 10 at 8:40 pm

OK non-NESN peeps, here’s the mythical Dice-K gyroball LOL.

  48. 2008 May 10 at 8:44 pm

Youuuuuuuuuuk played pinball with those seats out there.

  49. 2008 May 10 at 8:50 pm

Ha! Thanks (for about the billionth time) Ian!

  50. 2008 May 10 at 8:53 pm
