I won’t be around tonight. I’m taking my husband and daughter out for his birthday: 50’s diner for some burgers, then bowling and laser tag.
The gift I got for the kidlet to give him: Sox/A’s tickets for the end of the month. *I* can’t wait! (note to Tito: PLEASE play Jacoby on the 23rd, a certain 12-year old is just dying to see him!)

The Oakland Coliseum is about as ugly as a ballpark can be, but it’s still a lot of fun to see the Sox play. If you’re ever out west, go to ATT Park (SF Giants) because it’s beautiful and you can see the bay.
See Masterson this summer? That’d be all kinds of awesome.
I’d love to see Masterson in Pawtucket by May 26, Mike Hazen… ahem.

Liza: I know you’ve been busy, that’s why I haven’t mentioned it. I don’t know anything about designs. Red is always good, or you can look at my page and see what you think coordinates well. Manny is my favorite, and as Papi is the other half of the tandem, he’s certainly high on the list.

So speaking of how plays are scored: at a recent game, after Youk singled and the runner who had been at first was thrown out at 2nd, the scoreboard told me that Youk had “reached on FC.”
