awwww I didn’t even know it was his birthday! and Tavarez won’t even be around to help him blow out the candles :-(. I think we need some kind of Manny being Manny tribute video, don’t you?

I *love* Manny being Manny. He’s just awesome.
It took me awhile to catch on to the awesomeness and goodness that is Manny. Why that’s the case I have no idea, but now I simply can’t get enough of him doing his thing, either as it happens or in words and pictures and videos after the fact.
Have a lovely birthday, Senor Manuel. All of baseball fandom (Yankees purists aside) is celebrating with you, and we’ll be downright delirious should you blow out 500 candles on your special night.
