    Just got home from this game! Woo! Couldnt believe the explosion from everyone when he hit it. place went crazy. too bad we had 2 people walking in front of us, it was the one pitch the past 2 games that wasnt videotaped. just my luck. oh well great game and Congradulations manny!

    Congratulations, Manny! The place really did explode. I had been recording every one of his at-bats, and I actually got him hitting this.

    I was spoiled a bit, for my first game. ;]

    I cried 3 times this month. The first was when my fourth child was born, the second was when Lester got his no-no, and the third was last night. I just watched the video of Damon Woo giving the HR ball to Manny and got choked up again. I was so impressed with the Baltimore fans. They showed true sportsmanship by standing and cheering for Manny. That is what baseball is all about. I have so much love for this team!

    heh we had one grumpy baltimore fan in front of us, he was PISSED manny hit it. the whole game he was saying “not here, not in our park”, then when manny hit it he looked even more pissed and left after that inning. oh well. it was a crazy crazy experience. we cheered all though that inning, then they played the “fake” sweet caroline thing they do to tease sox fans down there (play the first 30 seconds or so) and the place went crazy again, then i was out in left so when manny came out everyone went crazy a 3rd time. i’m just irritated at those 2 stupid ladies who were going to their seats so we missed the vid, that should have been illegal during mannys at bats! going to a party now, but when i get home pics will be put on my myspace page from the game (click on my name for the link to it)

    We had our “baseball dinner” last night. I grilled some sausage dogs and we set up the coffee table so we wouldn’t miss a bit of the game. Just when we sat down, boom! 500! Awesome.

    my girlfriend did point out when reading my comment i should give equal time to the other orioles fans in front of us who were crying when manny hit 500. the one was also there for eddie murray’s 500 ( the only other person to do it in camden yards). time to upload some pics. dont have much from 500 though, had the people walking then we were too busy going crazy, but theres all sorts of stuff from that on the net allready.
