Beckett Angry! Beckett Smash!

Josh Beckett was not very pleased with his performance yesterday afternoon in Houston (and his failure to put down a successful bunt with 1 out in the sixth inning, and runners on 1st and 3rd)… and the dugout bench paid the price.

At least one of the Red Sox pitchers’ bats was finally put to some good use.

Poor Josh. Things go bad and he goes BOOM!

Like I said yesterday, if he had put as much effort in trying to lay down a bunt as he did wailing on that bench, he might have actually hit the ball. :)

What the hell happened this weekend? Lester gives up five runs in one inning, Manny pushes the traveling secretary around, we lose 2 of 3 to the Astros, Beckett is hitting benches instead of balls…

I leave for the weekend and it all goes to hell. /mom voice

We have quite a week ahead of us: at Tampa Bay and NYY–let’s get back on top.

I would do that too if I were him – and I would be screaming at everyone in the dugout, “can’t you guys get me ONE f-ing run!!”

I laughed at seeing this…I also though it was cute when they showed him between innings, hair all messed up, chewing on his nails and spitting them out. like a nervous little kid.

I just hope and pray that things stay sane in Tampa Bay, given the threats against our players. Scary stuff.

yeah- what is up with the death threats? so strange!! and creepy…ugh why can’t we fast forward these next few games? I’d much rather have them playing in peaceful, friendly Yankee Stadium with the always-gracious Steinbrenners than in Tampa at this point…

Yeah, Josh gets mad when he does bad. It shows how much passion he has for what he does, or if he is a real perfectionist.
