I’m watching the game with my dad and he thinks that if a fan interferes with the ball they should be kicked out of the park.

Erin, your dad is correct. IMNSHO ;-)

(In My Not So Humble Opinion)

Erin, I agree with your dad. No question.

That *should’ve* been it for Oki.

    Ah…Zeppelin therapy. That always helps.

I’m so close to dropping Oki from my fantasy team. But I can’t find another pitcher to take his place.

I remember Miles from when I was watching the Cardinals a lot last season. I remember him as being quite a hitter. Seems that my memory is accurate.

    This is nothing.

I was once at a doubleheader where the first game went to 17 innings, and then the second game went to 10 innings. TWENTY-SEVEN INNINGS OF BASEBALL. In one day.

  41. 2008 June 22 at 6:36 pm

Just think if you were there waiting for the Picnic in the Park.

Ok, that would kill me. I haven’t had lunch or dinner, only snacks till this is over.

  43. 2008 June 22 at 6:38 pm

I lied – I’m sorry. It was 17 and 9 innings – so 26 innings total. Per Baseball Reference, it took almost 7 hours.

  50. 2008 June 22 at 6:43 pm

That was amazing…even more amazing that Tek didn’t get hurt. He’s pretty durable, I guess!
