Hey y’all…ha haaahhh…I may just have the first post today! I’m heading to the other room to watch the game on TV! (does happy dance). Best for me to watch the game lying down anyway — these antibiotics have me pretty walloped.

I can’t decide between watching the Sox or the CWS. This is a hard choice. Smart kids playing in the College World Series or interleague play on Fox?

james, I often get regional games instead of the Sox when they’re on Fox. The first thing I did when I saw the game was on Fox was to make sure the Dodgers or Giants weren’t playing. I’m so happy to see the Sox on Fox!

it appears the Red Sox have more fans than the Reds today based on the applause on that play.
What a relief to put a run up on Volquez. He kicks ass.
What’d Jacoby do? I’m watching Stanford at the moment. They’re beating on the other team’s pitcher right now.

yea i figured i’d get the phils game when i saw they were on. oh well, phils arent bad to watch maybe they’ll put up 20 again today! and gametrac just lagged out i still dont see the run up.

anyone else see the article saying they want replay instituted for HR calls and boundry calls by august 1? i think its a good idea myself
It’s just strange not hearing orsillo with him. But yes this makes the broadcast tolerable.

James, I think it’s a good idea, but should be instituted next year. Changing it in the middle of the season is dumb.

I heard about the replay and think it’s a good idea if done correctly. I didn’t read the article to see the details, tho.

I read that they want to start the replay mid-season so they can iron out the wrinkles by the post season.

All FOX Games are blacked out on MLB.tv as well as ESPN Sunday games.
Due to Major League Baseball national exclusivities, each Saturday until 7:00 PM EST (beginning May 17, 2008 and continuing for remaining Saturdays during the regular season) and each Sunday night (for games that begin after 5:00 PM EST), all scheduled webcasts of games played within such time period will be blacked out.
