I was really hoping to hear from Dusty during this game, about all the baseclogging going on.

If I yell and scream during the day I don’t have to apologize to my neighbor-through-the-wall, right?

I wish we could just go from the starter to Papelbon, and skip the middle. It would make my day better.
Also what is up with the fireworks every time the Reds score a home run? Imagine if the Sox did that in Boston? A lot of pollution.

I blame the announcer, who kept going ON AND ON AND ON about Papelbon being “lights out” and “no blown saves”.

There’s a blown save for you, dude.

Too bad we don’t have NESN- otherwise, we’d be getting epic cooler-kicking.

Normally, I’d say he’d be back out in the 10th. But he looks really deflated. Still, maybe he can catch his breath, and then he’ll be back out breathing fire.

  37. 2008 June 14 at 6:43 pm

good enough to shut down the Red Sox last night

  38. 2008 June 14 at 6:43 pm

You know, baseball gods, when I said earlier that I wanted JD to homer and then go into extra innings so he could hit for the cycle, I meant the latter IF the former happened.

Am I alone in hoping Hansen pitches the tenth?

  40. 2008 June 14 at 6:44 pm

    Pap does not look good.

  41. 2008 June 14 at 6:44 pm

Paps looked migrainous leaving the mound.
