All Star Game/Home Run Derby Open Thread

Anyone else out there weirdly excited about the prospect of the Home Run Derby and All Star Game, despite all logic and reason? Yeah, me, too.

We can all use this thread tonight and tomorrow as an open thread to talk about all the festivities going on at Yankee Stadium.

    Thank God. I actually went back to the TV after seeing “JD walkoff.” Got back just in time to see him walk and then Young finally ending the game.

    Lets see, so Mo did not close the game (a Ray did instead!) and Drew MVP. Yank fans must be loving this.

    I never, ever want to watch an All-Star Game again unless the rules are changed.
