Bethie, no AC here except while in the laundromat, which was only marginally cooler than outside. At least the temp is finally starting to edge down a bit.

Karen, you’d be surprised what you can get used to. I’ve done without AC for so long that I don’t even think about it except on really hot days.
Yeah, I went 4wks during the hurricanes without power, that was enough for me. No ac, tv, internet, don’t wish to repeat.

Yikes, Karen. *That* I would not care to go through. As a kid, I went 4 days powerless just once after a hurricane and it was hellacious. In my current location, no more than overnight power loss. That and a few days of drinking bottled water when the Frances/Ivan remnants came through in 2004.

I was thinking that was spin art, but wasn’t sure. I used to have that when I was a kid, so much fun.
I think I still do have mine, somewhere. I used it regularly until I was about ten.
