    So has it been established that Colon has been a truckload of FAIL? And I thought Sabathia was having a not-so-good year. Is that just a fluke, ya think?

    colon has been a truckload of fail at all. He’s done a decent job filling in. I just don’t see him being a part of the plan for 2008.

    Sabathia isn’t having a good year but he’s been pretty dominant his last 4-5 starts.

    Colon a FAIL? No way. He’s had some nice outtings and I’d be surprised if we didn’t see more. I expect he’ll be back in the rotation again.

    I can yes. But fireworks don’t do anything for me. After watching them on a constant basis for 9 years of minor league baseball, their appeal to me is gone.

    Well, I love seeing the Boston fireworks from my roof. I have a perfect line-of-sight view, except for an apartment building that blocks the low-to-the-ground sparkly displays. I keep trying to have something done about that but apparently the people who live there don’t agree.

    Ahhh, Ian, you’ve become so jaded. I don’t get to see them often, but they almost always wow me. I used to have a friend whose house was literally on an outcropping above our local minor league stadium, and it was great fun to stand on her porch and watch the rockets’ red glare at eye level and hear the noise echoing between the ridges that surround the stadium. I would get absolutely transfixed every time I was there when they had a fireworks display.

    I will be driving home when everyone is driving to the celebration in west palm beach. So needless to say I will be sitting in traffic for the 4th.

    I get fireworks again tomorrow night since New Haven shoots them off about 3 miles from where they shot them off tonight.

    My town has the minor league playing, and fireworks afterward. But where I work is a much larger city and they are having a big celebration. After working over 9hrs tomorrow, won’t be fun for me. I would rather head home and watch the game archived.

    yes, the Bob ads are bad, but I those Aflac commercials are the worst…maybe because my daughter thinks it’s funny to randomly run over to me and go AFLAC….
