For the record since these two are idiots:
Francona chose Carlos Guillen, Dioner Navarro, George Sherrill, Justin Duchscherer and Joe Nathan.
AJ is not on the list because it’s pretty obvious that the players don’t like him since Varitek finished second in the player voting at catcher.

It will be interesting to see who gets picked to replace Big Papi on the roster. Francona said this afternoon that Milton Bradley will replace Big Papi in the starting lineup.
AJ is a penis-head. But they could have voted Pudge. Or even Suzuki. Tek is gloriously lovely… but he is not All-Star caliber this year.
I love Tek and all but I don’t think he should be on the All star team.

Well that’s a little confrontational, but I don’t care who voted him – that is a case in point why All-Star selections are ridiculous, and should never ever EVER be pointed to as a reasoning for HOF.
Varitek is a CAREER All-Star guy, but not ‘08.
