fc that’s also the main ingredient in his slump buster drink

The med-spell comes unconsciously at this point, mh. I did transcription full time for 14 years.

His torrents of, uh, “passion” probably make laundry extra-fun in the Youkilis household.

  7. 2008 July 6 at 9:48 pm

    Bet he’s a winner.

That’s why he’s an ex. And dang that was a funny statement mhc.

    Sigh

    Joe Morgan = babbling idiot

I think he likes to talk just to hear his own voice

    Oh…buh bye Girardi

  13. 2008 July 6 at 9:49 pm

*eeeww to the sweat drink and the passion.

Golly, Girardi and the ump running their mouths are hilarious to watch.

    Why THANK YOU Ian.

fc never thinks these sorts of jokes are funny. Thank god other people understand how HILARIOUS they are.

And TG– kudos for taking it to the next level.

    gardner is our ellsbury

  16. 2008 July 6 at 9:52 pm

mh, I’d still be doing it full time if the practice hadn’t phased it out. Now I do medical record data entry for the most part, but still a little bit of transcription when stat situations call for it. And within minutes it makes my wrists and hands hurt, and my fingers slow down as well. So glad I don’t do much of it anymore.

Who is this Gardner and why do I hate him already?

(also, I think that’s kind of unfair to Ellsbury, don’t you?)

  18. 2008 July 6 at 9:53 pm

    Dammit. Dammit. Dammit…

now would be a great time for a DP

  20. 2008 July 6 at 9:53 pm

i’m not sure it’s unfair but rather a compliment to the awesomeness of Ellsbury.

Gardner replaced Damon, when he was injured the other day. He’s a Yankee, so that is good enough reason in itself to hate him.

Well, yeah, the problem with human transcription is that a) they’re not as fast as computers and b) they’re human and have tendons.

EMR stuff, huh? Well, you’ll never have a hard time finding work, I’ll tell you that.

  23. 2008 July 6 at 9:54 pm

Well with that sweaty at bat it seems to have turned into a REAL Sox/Yankees game.

  34. 2008 July 6 at 9:58 pm

gardner is one of their top prospects and was called up on monday night. and as karen said, he’s the one who replaced Damon on sunday

coco don’t help the umpire by starting to head to the dugout

  38. 2008 July 6 at 10:01 pm

mh, I’ve been doing EMR transcription since 2003, and now the “clicking in” and such. I’m learning more of the fine points every day. I may possibly maybe make a midlife career switch to diversity education…in my dreams…but am also considering relocating in the next few years, so if I do stay in the medical field its good to know that my skills will transfer anywhere.
