Remember Way Back When…

It’s already been eight – er, seven and a half – long year since the beginning of the new millennium, and so naturally VH1 has already put together a retrospective called “I Love The New Millennium”. Thank goodness – it’s been so long, I’d forgotten what happened… in 2007.

In any event, VH1 wisely saw that the Red Sox’ World Series victory was one of the biggest stories of 2004 – and so that got its own segment on the “2004″ episode. As a special Tuesday morning treat, here’s video of the segment.

THAT was awesome. Thanks for posting that. I never watch VH1, so would have missed it entirely.

Vh1 was calling all these lovely “I love the New Millenuium” sneak peaks or something. I don’t really get how they can already film it. It seems a little too early to be making fun of ‘07 (and even all the other years, too).

Wow, that article read like an angry Rays fan threw it together one night when he had nothing better to to. How can you hate a team just because the city is winning championships? The Sox have no say in how the Celtics do. They made it sound like we don’t even bother with the farm system. Did they miss the fact that 5 of last nights starters (including Masterson) were drafted by the Sox?

Eek, I feel like I’ve ranted enough on an article that isn’t even the focus of this post.

Thanks for posting this! 2004 was the one year I missed in the show.

I was a little disappointed, though, that they didn’t put the 2007 win in there. Oh well. It IS undershadowed by the 2004 win….. but only by a little XP

Oh, since I forgot to comment on the article, here I am again XD

Because they ended the 10 things with “they’re good”, they basically openly admit that they’re just jealous. And I hate to sound like I’m in 6th grade again, but it’s true.

Oh and I watched the 2004 thing on sunday and they played the Sox at the very end, saved the best for last!
