What on earth did Jonathan Papelbon say that would, simultaneously, cause David Ortiz to crack up, Tim Wakefield and Alex Cora to gape open-mouthed, Jon Lester to scratch his head and Mike Lowell to look on in horror?
Scratch that. I think we’re all better off not knowing.
My guess? He tried to say “Welcome to the Thunderdome, bitch!” in Spanish.
