May I take this opportunity to bitch about people who come to work sick and, guess what, make everyone else sick?
PEDIE!!!
PEDIE!!
That was a homer!!!
It’s official: Dustin Pedroia is UN-FREAKIN’-BELIEVABLE.
And is this the year of the wall-hanging balls?
Ugh. That didn’t sound good.
Here. Still raining, but much better.
Youk!
Youk!
Keepin’ it simple. A single can be just fine.
Jaybay!
“How to Manufacture a Run in 3 Easy Steps,” by Dave Magadan:
(1) Have Dustin Pedroia hits a double or triple.
(2) Have Ortiz or Youk drives him home with a hit (or in the case of a triple, with a sac fly).
(3) Repeat as often as possiible.
Woot! RBIBB!
Hey everyone! I finally pried my laptop from my kidlet’s paws.
Pleats! Awesome!
I hope Clay throws a great game. He needs the confidence. Let’s go Clay!

Jennie, that is one of my *biggest* pet peeves. Drives me crazy. I’ve told people to just go home.
Nice play, Bailey, but please don’t take Clay out.
Bailey! That was all kinds of awesome D.
Bailey!
I agree about coming to work sick. Last year I worked in a call center, large room, no windows and over 100 people. The company gave out free hand wipes, lysol, and flu shots, because it got that bad.
Yooooooouuuuuuuuuuk!
CASH!
CASH!
JACOBY!!!!!
Cash! Jacoby!
Woohoo! JACOBY!!
Am just firing up the computer here. Looks good so far!
Woot! Speedy McStolen bases!
Hi ecl, how are you?
So far, so good.
So, was Pleats robbed of a home run?
Looks like Jacoby is back. :)
I believe he was, Jules.
I’m not sure I agree that he was robbed, but they’ve been handing us runs ever since.
Hi jules, I’m dog tired. And my computer is being slow. Had to boot from scratch because it got cranky on me last night. The broadband modem is still waking up. So…I’m stuck with Gameday graphics for a little while, I think. But I’m glad to see such a nice start to the game.
PAPI!
It sure looked like the ball hit behind the top of the fence.
Big Papi!
PAPI!!!
Got the mlb.tv going just in time to see the replay of Papi! Nice going, Large Father!
Is your computer slow or is it your connection?
Jules, for whatever reason, the computer won’t go into “sleep” mode at night unless I disconnect the broadband modem (5 Mb connection), and it takes a little while to go through its paces after I reconnect it. I also had to shut the computer down completely last night because, as I said, it did something cranky. It rebooted just fine when I got home from work today, almost always does, but until the modem finishes doing its thing, which takes a few minutes, pages load slowly. Everything is humming along just fine now.
So, Clay, do you think you could speed up the pace a bit? And not kill yourself diving for balls?
Stay cool, Clay; stay cool.
Poor Clay.
Come on, Clay! Just get through this inning.
Opps. Crap.
GAH!
Dear Clay,
Please get out of this inning.
-Mac
DAMMIT.
No.
NO NO NOOOOO…
ecl, is it still under warranty? It shouldn’t be doing that.
Um, nice face, Clay. Please never make it again.
Apparently they haven’t solved Clay’s mechanics problem…. gah
Thank you Coco.
I’m really beginning to wonder if Boston is the right place for Clay.
Gah. Roberts’ RBI got me excited.
Dammit, Kate. Stop liking guys on other teams.
