    Lyndsay, I could swear there was some long-assed game earlier this year where most of the bullpen got used, and the subject of Cora possibly being used came up in the media mix after the game.

    Ok, that was bad. I’m going to watch rest of the weather coverage. Figure out what roads aren’t flooded, or have tornado damage, for me to get to work.

    ecl – I don’t remember that game, but I do remember after the All-Star game, I read an article where they would have had Drew in to pitch if the game went on for more innings.

    hadn’t heard that one, ecl1958. I don’t know if I should be scared that they are actually playing the “play a position you haven’t played since little league, just for fun’ game…in the middle of a PENNANT RACE!

    that said….I would love to see Youk pitch. you just know he’d end up ejected for throwing at batters’ heads.

    Just got home from work…poor Clay. I can’t even be mad at him because he just looks so sad. He needs to talk to Dice-K about high-pressure situations.

    Cora in the bullpen eh? Could we possibly get a video of that?

    Seeing Clay pitch so poorly is heartbreaking.

    After Cora got back to the dugout, they showed him sitting beside Beckett, and Beckett looked EXTREMELY pissed off.

    I feel so bad for Clay. He looked like he was about to just break down in tears. He must feel so bad, and it’s hard for me to be mad at him because he really is COMPLETELY LOST right now. =(

    That would be amazing if Crisp did make that catch earlier when he fell of ther fence. I would be absolutely speechless!
