Watching the Yankee game and I’ve decided that I also cannot stand Bobby Abreau. Every time he takes a called strike, he turns and stares at the umpire. His face clearly says “How could you possibly think of calling that a strike?”

Anyone else ever notice that when Remy reads the defensive alignment for the other team, the graphic doesn’t match up with what he says, in terms of the fielding percentage? He often reads a number that’s one off from the graphic. For instance, tonight the graphic said the Royals are 3rd in the A.L. in fielding percentage, but Remy said 4th. It happens pretty frequently, so I don’t know what’s going on.
Also– fc and I are actually sitting in the same room for tonight’s game, on separate computers. How awesome are we?

Well, my sister is there and I was going to fly out and meet her but, after throwing down $350 for the flight, I found that the rental car would be just as much. That’s a lot of money to be hanging out in Kansas and Nebraska.
