I just saw on ESPN that they put Joba on the DL. And the Rays won today grr
Yeah, I watched the Rays win on tv. Just turned it on for the 9th inning, was hoping to see them lose. Just finishing dinner, good timing. I guess I missed a good game last nite, got home from work right after it ended.
Joba to the DL…interesting. Guess being a starter was too much for him or something…
So missed KC announcers.
Joba has slight tear in his rotator cuff and will take some time off before beginning a throwing program.

Pete Abraham of the Journal News seems to think we won’t see Joba again this season.
I don’t see the Yankees rushing him back at all. He’s the future of that pitching staff and if he got hurt rushing him back they lose him for even longer.

my favorite with these announcers was in the first game of this series, they said “ortiz has got to be uncomfortable in his new spot in the lineup, he’s been batting cleanup behind manny for years now”
this joba thing is a cover i think… they’re just delaying announcing that he’s going to have surgery

My favorite thing has been their whole discussion about our guys’ necklaces.
Ouch, Pudge. Yeah, I know, wrong team, but I enjoyed watching him catch in his prime. Tough little bulldog.
My favorite was the whole Buchholz glove thing where they said they would call it a triple just because they could.
