    Hey y’all!

I saw Kotsay taking BP during the pre-game show. I wonder if we’ll see him tonight.

I was remembering a game in tampa bay where someone had a sign saying “JD Boo” I think DLDrew would have been much much better….

Here. Hopefully this game will be good. So far in the last week there has been a tropical storm, I got laid off, and now just found out my cousin took his life last night. Any more bad news? I can’t handle losing.

I’m going to a birthday party for my friend’s 1-year old twins. Of course, they are getting Red Sox hats like I got for their older sister.

Never too early to indoctrinate, eh?

    Pleats!

Oh goodness, I just realized that the mlb.tv broadcast is YES. I wonder which will be more obnoxious, that or ESPN?

    I’d go with ESPN.

ecl, ESPN. Definitely. The YES announcers are the biggest whiners I’ve *ever* heard.

Haven’t decided which is worse YES or ESPN, this could be a close tie.

ecl, I chose ESPN over YES. Repetition is better than obnoxiousness.

two runs is a good way to start the game, tho.

My dilemma is that watching ESPN means being in the other room, away from my computer, so I’d be unable to hang out with y’all except between innings and during pitching changes. And…I often multitask on the computer during the game. So I’ll just bite the bullet and stay here, I guess.

Dammit, Abreu, why did you have to use your arm there?

That was a little too shallow to send him on.

  28. 2008 August 27 at 7:24 pm

Probably wasn’t smart to send Bay there. He was out by a mile. Hopefully that won’t haunt us.

Wah wah wah – I have my iPhone that isn’t loading pages, MLB.tv that isn’t working on this laptop and I can’t even get Gameday to work. Can I annoy everyone for occasional recaps of what’s happening?

2-0 Sox in the bottom of the 1st, Jennie.

Pedroia singled, Papi doubled and I guess that Jeb got an RBI too (and Bay was called out at home, based on what people are saying). Is that correct?

Bay doubled in Papi and pedie, then Jed walked, and then tek singled, but bay got thrown out at home.

I just ordered a couple little kidlet baseball hats from the Yawkey Way store.

LOL, DO. “How’d the Lakers work out?” to Jack Nickelson sitting in the stands with a Yankees hat.

DO was hysterical. He mentioned how Jack always roots against Boston. That’s when he asked how the Lakers worked out. Too funny.
