I was at this game. it sucked.the 1st inning lasted literally FOREVER. it’s a good thing we had SWEET seats (the roofdeck under the Bud sign), a $100 voucher for food/drink, and the weather was PERFECT. also, with my binoculars I had a good stalkers view of Jacoby shuffling around in the outfield, stretching, playing catch, what have you…

And to think, after that Gagne fiasco last year, I thought it was MY birthday that was the jinx.

I did read in the Herald that Josh threw a Dixie cup, so there’s that.

Great post for Josh. He does need a talk, cause I don’t know what that was yesterday, but it’s nothing I ever want to see from Joshua Patrick again. Crappus Maximus for sure. Hope he heeds your advice and gets his shit together.

Beckett just needs to NEVER pitch against the Jays. But maybe he will redeem himself in his next start against them.

Great post. I couldn’t agree more. Beckett’s outing yesterday was abysmal. His non-reaction is quite unusual–makes one wonder if he was sick. Or podded.

I think the Blue Jays steal signs. Or Brad Arnsberg gives all the hitters tips on how to approach Josh. There aren’t many other ways to explain why the f-ing Jays own him so bad.

Thanks for having ‘the talk’ with Josh. I generally watch his first few innings, and then get on with errands, and life, and such. However, yesterday, after such a strong outing on Monday, I felt comfortable leaving on his own. BIG mistake. I’ll be watching from now on.
