Sound of Silence

If you listen very closely, and can block out the deafening silence from all those empty seats in “sold out” Yankee Stadium tonight…

…you can almost hear the sound of guys in pinstripes calling for their mommies.

This post + that photo = great way to start the day.

It certainly wasn’t silent in my house. I scared the dog and amused my husband. heeheee

PS: It wasn’t completely silent in the toilet bowl–the boos for Mr. April (0-5 on the night) were quite loud.

It is a tag that should have been put to good use long, long ago.

As someone who was one of three fans in my entire section who stayed to the end of the game, I can tell you that at least half the stadium left in the middle of the eighth.

For the record, the other two in my section were the Yankees fans I was there with.

That photo. And calling for mommy?
    Made of win!
I think I’m actually going to save that picture to my computer so I can look at it whenever I am depressed.
