    Probably a smart thing going tonight as it doesn’t look good for the next two days with the weather around here.

    :: jealous again ::

    Have a beer for me, Texy.

    I have my daughter’s volleyball game, so I’ll miss part of it, too.

    I’m here, still feeling sick, but here. Had to go buy groceries, because there was nothing here. So not fun when you have a fever. I haven’t been healthy for over 3wks, from one infection to another. At least it’s kept my mind off being unemployed.

    Here. along with history homework.

    Hello, all. I am a semi-regular blog reader but a virgin to the game day threads, so I hope you don’t mind me joining in. This is the time of year where I need kindred spirits in reach, digitally or otherwise, while I bite my nails and try to keep my breathing under control. (Briefly: my name is Amanda & I live in Portland, ME. Hence, I am insanely attached to, sometimes to the point of being an apologist for, any former Sea Dog.)

    Welcome, Amanda! I *LOVE* Portland, ME. Of course, my hubby and I would move to Maine in a heartbeat if we could. Alas, we’ll have to wait until we retire.

    You know the Cubs are hoping the Brewers don’t make the wild card because if the Brew Crew does get the wild card, the Cubs get the Dodgers. And with Manuel they are a scary team.

    Does it drive anyone else crazy to see Manny play so hard out in LA?

    (of course, I *really* hate that he helped put the Dodgers in the post-season)

  42. 2008 September 25 at 7:21 pm

    Okay I have a serious question for y’all.

    If the Red Sox weren’t going to be in the playoffs, would you still come here to talk during the remaining games?

    Tek+loaded bases=a wing and a prayer. Prove me wrong, V.

  44. 2008 September 25 at 7:22 pm

    I would Ian. I would try to make the best out of the remaining games left, even if they didn’t really mean anything. Life is just not as fun without baseball.

    Nice RBI Tek!
