Your Friendly Ballpark Brawler
Meet Christopher R. Sciesinski.

Christopher is a 33 year old bald dude from Sarasota, Florida. And also a dude who happened to get tased by the Rays security- despite the fact that NESN (and FoxSports) didn’t show a lick of the fight and tasefest on TV. Unfortunately, Christopher is also a Red Sox fan.
From the St. Pete Times:
Christopher Sciesinski, 33, of Sarasota was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge Wednesday night after he tried to jump over the Rays dugout onto the field, said Sgt. Karl Lounge of the St. Petersburg Police. Security staff and police had received complaints about Sciesinski earlier in the game. Officer Patrick McGovern pulled out a Taser gun, Lounge said. When Sciesinski was apprehended on the top of the Rays dugout, the game stopped – and both the Rays and Red Sox took notice.
“He got tattooed,” Red Sox slugger David Ortiz said. “Holy god, that was a big dude, man. He had a lot of policemen all over him.

If David “Big Papi” Ortiz, he of the 6′4″ 240lb body, calls you a big dude… you are a BIG DUDE.
Let’s also take a look at Christopher’s booking sheet, shall we? Ah – it appears our friendly Sox brawler/taser target likes the ink.

You had me at “2 scorpions w/ record players and skull”, Christopher. The “naked women, trees, eye, scales” tattoo on the other arm is just a bonus!
First person to make a “Don’t tase me, bro!” joke gets sent to their room with no dinner for overusing an obvious and cliched joke.

I’m only saying that it WAS on the 1 year anniversary of that event of the college kid being tased and ish….so it’s kinda funny in that way.
/doesn’t say anything more
I’ll go ahead and say it, so everyone can feel complete:
DON’T TASE ME, BRO!
/bans self
Is there any concrete proof that he is a Red Sox fan? All I’ve seen is a blurb in the Tampa newspaper which alleges his fandom, but the guy isn’t even wearing any Red Sox gear (as far as I can tell).
I don’t think it “alleges” his fandom. I think the St. Pete Times reports it straight out, just like any other fact. That same entry is full of comments from people who were at the game and in that section.
Also: Tampa Bay TV station reporter was there, reports the same thing. Dude and his friend (who was in a Sox shirt) were both arrested.

Ah, thanks. I guess given the way the game was going, it’s understandable.
According to Bradford, he didn’t get “tased”.

There is, apparently, massive debate from Rays folks at the game who take issue with the reports from the official people that he wasn’t tased. Understandable- no team wants to be the one that tased a fan.
Either way, the taser gun was pulled and put to a big bald dudes’ head… which is pretty funny. I’m not sure if it’s funny hah-hah or funny weird. Or both.
I think if he was being that big an ass that his being tased isn’t that big a deal (although it makes the security folks look pretty lame). But the idea that the taser is on his HEAD, I have to admit, I don’t find very funny.
Well it’s on his head in the picture up there, so that much can be definitely confirmed.
He wouldn’t be tased in the head, though – that’s just to make him pee his pants and STFU.
Oh, Texy, you had to go and say it when I fought SO HARD not to make the obvious comment in last night’s gameday open thread.
I was there at the game, he wasn’t the only one arrested last night. Of course his arrest took the longest. Even the Red Sox bullpen, which was in front of me stood up and was yelling at the security to take him out. I think part of the reason for all the arrests was the game took longer to get to last call then normal, so people were a lot more drunk than normal.
Karen, my friends and I have called that “the Matsuzaka effect”, and it always seems to happen when they visit the O’s.
the pride of red sox nation!
