Delayed Gratification

Sometimes you get to finish your (potentially) clinching Game 5 of the World Series, and sometimes you don’t.

Although Bud Selig wouldn’t come out and actually confirm a start time during his press conference, there are already signs outside Citizens Bank Park indicating that the game will resume at 8 pm tomorrow night… weather permitting.
Hilariously, Philly Comcast is reporting that the Rays already checked out of their hotel in Philadelphia earlier today… and now the hotel is booked solid. I’m sure you can crash at Chase Utley’s house, guys!

They could pitch a tent outside. I was so looking forward to this game. They should have called it in the 5th inning. I have been enjoying watching Cole pitch, very good and so fine.
“…no, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night…”
Too bad, so sad.
And I must be getting old… it took me a second viewing to “get” the graphic…
stupendous pic!
I didn’t know children like the Rays could actually get blueballs at that young of an age.
the blue balls are not for the rays my friend. they were not on the brink of ejacu…. er celebration
little a head of their balls are they?
little a head of their balls are they?
That almost cost me a keyboard. Glad I finished my sip of coffee.
I feel like the Rays have been a little ahead of themselves for most of the season.
They checked out of their hotel already? That’s hilarious! I’m sure there’s some run-down, dumpy motel with some openings and free adult movies…
I’m sure Aubrey Huff would be disappointed to hear he missed out on the free adult movies.
And now it’s not gonna happen until Wednesday. WHEE!
I saw on Fanhouse (so it may not be true) that the Rays are now staying 35 miles away from Philly–in Delaware! BWAHAHAHA!
Awww poor Kaz, Andy and Evan!
They probably have to share a crappy room somewhere with Carlos Pena (you’ll have to ask me about why that’s so bad)
I saw that on ESPN this morning that they check out of their hotel. I laughed so hard. Now they’re staying in Wilmington, DE which is a good 45 minutes away from Philly.
It’s probably better for them, that they aren’t in Philly.
