    Amazing…Awesome…It won’t EVER get old….
I felt so good that Jed got the winning hit….he’s probably my fav infielder next to Pedy.

    “Can you belive it ?!?”

I thought we were screwed with Wilits at 3rd… Tek is the man!

Bay, Lowrie and Kotsay all made huge plays – and they weren’t even on the Sox in April!

    Best Tuesday ever.

Brought my headphones with me to work this morning so that when those blessed celebratory videos are posted, I can watch them ASAP.

What a beautiful day. It’s a rainy, cold morning but it feels like springtime.

I’m so happy. I am so, so happy.

    Also…

Yes, it’s a thing of perfection when we beat the Angels for the third time in five postseasons. But what made me grin even brighter last night was the way that little Jed shut down the TBS Peanut Gallery; specifically Chip Caray.

You will never be your grandfather, sir. You will never be your grandfather.

    What a tool.

Can I say it? Can I? “Siddown!” … ya jerk.

Never ever ever ever ever. And I’m so glad it was due to two dudes who weren’t on our roster last year. Welcome to the Red Sox!

    NEVER gets old. Never.

Tek’s play in the 9th was spectacular–what hustle and determination.

Kotsay’s defense at first was amazing.

Jane is spot on: those announcers! I screamed “SHUT UP” at the TV at one point when I heard “feed the middle.” That and “Push the issue” (what the hell does THAT mean?) nearly caused me to lose my mind. Shows a lack of imagination on the announcers’ part.

    It’s a beautiful morning.

    Bring on the Rays!

    …and coffee

PS: One of my fav celebratory scenes: spraying Sager’s gawdawfully ugly sport coat with champagne.

What a great morning it is, indeed!! The fall line of goggles is looking smart this year!
While we’re on the subject of Mr. Caray, I was appalled at how he spoke to Cal Ripken, too.

I love how when the Sox clinched a playoff spot Jed said he hoped the greatest moment of the season hadn’t happened yet. Something tells me this will be his greatest moment of the season.

Lori – I still hope it’s yet to come. =)

joyosity, I was thinking the same thing! There’s still one more series (hopefully two) in which to make wonderful memories.

I think he’s going to top it.

I watched most of the game from bed because I was sick, but now I’m SO glad I stuck it out until the bitter end. What a wild and wonderful roller coaster ride — and Jed’s moment was the icing on the cake. Like Joy and Jules, I hope he’s not done giving us thrills!

I was there last night. It was so amazing. And Jed is one of my favourites, so I was so happy. I Felt like crap alll day but I couldn’t pass up that chance. I was crossing my fingers for Jed and when he got that hit I was jumping up and down and screaming so much. I paid for it so bad in the morning, but totally worth it.

Could it have been scripted any better? No way.

And that makes it even more unique and incredible.

Bring it on, Rays. We’ve got awesome young rookies, too.
