Agreed, Texy, but it breaks my heart to consider losing Materson and Bowden. I heart Masterson mightily; Bowden affectionately! This CC trade is just the beginning of a bigger story. Like Ramirez’ stats, for sure.

He’s a fantastic reliever – and he’d be an asset to the pen. But I wouldn’t be surprised to learn this is a stepping stone to a multi-player deal with Texas for a catcher (Ramirez + Bowden/Masterson).

hmmmmm…interesting.

Ramirez’s stats are good, but I don’t remember seeing him pitch last year. I won’t complain about improving the pen, tho.
