Hooray For Drinking!
A very Happy Repeal Day to everyone! Today marks the 75th anniversary of the repeal of the 18th Amendment and Prohibition… and passage of the 21st Amendment that guarantees every American’s right to tailgate before a ballgame, and then toss back a few beers in the stands.

Two Prohibition agents dump out confiscated alcohol in Boston – booo!
Of course Boston is amongst the cities across the U.S. hosting celebrations in honor of the downfall of Prohibition. But even if you don’t attend one of those official celebrations, raise a glass (or beer bottle) in honor of alcohol – we wouldn’t have near as much fun at ballgames, and near as many funny stories to tell afterwards (or pictures of the players at Game On!) without it.

I’m still underage. It doesn’t “effect” me.
I think you mean “affect”.
But for the majority of the population, it does – so hooray!
Look out, Boston, I hear she’s on the loose tonight.
Woo hoo for cocktails! I’ll be celebrating shortly…
If I were old enough to celebrate I would. I really wish I were old enough to celebrate…
Hooray for alcohol, the cause of and solution to all life’s problems!
