Can’t Hardly Wait
The latest Red Sox commercial, urging fans to buy tickets for the 2009 baseball season, is making the rounds on television. If you watched any of the NFL playoffs this weekend (hah hah, Eagles!) here in New England, you saw it at least once during each of the games (one on FOX, one on CBS).
In response to a fan saying she “can’t wait for pitchers and catchers”, Jed Lowrie makes his acting debut, saying he “can’t wait for shortstops”. Terry Francona tells us he “can’t wait to school Pedroia in cribbage”. A random dude says he “can’t wait to yell ‘ROCC-OOOOO’”. And John Smoltz, holding up his new Red Sox jersey, says he “can’t wait to put this on”.
23 days until P&C…

I wonder if they caught Jed at some sort of event or if he thought, “I’m gonna be on TV; I better wear a suit”. He looks very nice. And Tito trash-talking Pedroia already! Awesome. I can’t wait either!
I got chills seeing Smoltz with his new jersey.
Thanks for posting the commercial–we don’t get these nuggets on the west coast.
I can’t wait for baseball!
The season can’t come fast enough.
I laughed so hard when Tito said his line about Pedroia. I love their relationship
So so cute- it made me feel all warm and cuddly inside.
