I don't think that "win at any cost" strategy (Yankees) is the same as having a "winning strategy". (Red Sox). I am proud that our 2 recent WS rings and the 2008 season are evidence of a club culture that believes in itself, believes in the power of the team as a whole, and finds ways to win when any simple analysis of facts or stats would discourage hope of being competitive. Fuck New York of it thinks it is better than Boston. Fuck the Yankeees if they think they are better than Boston. The effort, and the money spent to prove the point, tells the tale. Me think thou dost protest too much, Big Apple.
