Wedding Bells In The Owner’s Box
Red Sox owner John Henry’s girlfriend of six(ish) months confirmed (via text message, of course!) over the weekend that she is his girlfriend no longer… she’s now his fiancee.
Linda Pizzuti, 30, is from Lynnfield and a real estate developer in the North End- and attended Babson College, MIT and Suffolk University School of Law. She lists her title as, “VP at State Financial Services”. Per the Globe, she met John Henry, 59, at the Liberty Hotel bar last June. Which is a nice coincidence, because they’ll wed this June. Henry actually proposed back in early December in New York, but the Inside Track girls let us all down and didn’t find out until now. This will be John’s third marriage, and Linda’s first.

Mr. Henry did well for himself – she’s beautiful (reminds me of Ashley Judd) and will make an excellent addition to the Sox WAGs. If I would have known under 35’s had a chance at nearly 60 year old John Henry, I would have encouraged the lot of you female readers to go after him– It’s the only way you’re likely to get Sox season tickets in this economy.
Congratulations to both of them – and here’s hoping they cap off their honeymoon with a World Championship celebration in 2009!

Wow, she’s beautiful! And she’s from the next town over from me (I could throw a rock and it might land in Lynnfield). Congratulations to the both of them!
It must be nice to have money!!
Congrats to the couple! They look very happy together.
Guys truck day. is. friday!
Anonymous – I think it’s always nice to have money, no matter what the context.
“Real estate developer” = “comes from money,” although I’m sure John Henry has much more. And I didn’t know John Henry was hip enough to hang out at Alibi–oh, wait, right, money, sorry. She is very pretty though.
Henry has all the luck. He found a smokin MIT grad. That’s rarer than a non-juiced yankee player.
Linda is exactly what I’d buy if I had Henry’s bucks.Right after I signed Mark Texieria to a 10 year contract and got Saltsomething from The Rangers and Rivera from The Tigers…Then I’d sport my tropy wife all over The American League. She could do ‘girl stuff’ with Leigh Texieria.
