We Don’t Need No Drama

Jere has it right: Tony Massarotti can pack his “boredom” with the Red Sox, and his sadness at the lack of “car accident” behavior, and go back to New England. How someone could be at spring training in sunny Florida, covering one of the best franchises in baseball, and bitch about the lack of drama I do not know. I choose to believe he’s actively seeking to become Boston’s answer to Colin Cowherd.

Mazz is a sensationalist–he needs juicy stories to suit his over-the-top style. The lack of any drama beyond who’s going to start at SS must be slowly driving him insane.
And so what if there’s no excitement? The only drama a good baseball club should have is what takes place on the diamond. Off the field I want a happy ball club that teases the living daylights out of the reigning MVP, has a fantasy football draft complete with big board, and whose members genuinely like and support each other.
@lone1c: It’s like Jere mentioned- I think he is pissed that he’s actually having to mine for content, and there are no magical story fairies that will deliver controversy so he’ll have an easy time writing.
